High-Gain Vertical Polarized Collinear Antennas 12dBi Omni
Antenna Experts specializes in the design and manufacture of vertically polarized fiberglass collinear antennas, offering a versatile range of omni-directional gain options from unity to 12dBi. Covering a broad frequency spectrum from 30MHz to 6000MHz, these antennas are engineered for peak performance. The flagship AC12 series delivers a super high gain of 12dBi (10dBd), making it an ideal choice for base stations and repeater sites that require extensive bandwidth without the logistical complexity of installing multiple antenna arrays.
Rugged All-Weather Design and Signal Integrity
The AC series is built to endure harsh environmental conditions, featuring radiating elements sealed within a high-strength fiberglass tube. This housing provides excellent RF transparency while maintaining the structural integrity necessary to withstand significant wind loads. To ensure long-term reliability, the input termination is strategically located inside the base of an aluminum mounting section, shielding the connection from moisture and corrosion. This design facilitates a consistent 360-degree horizontal radiation pattern across the entire plane.
Heavy-Duty Construction and IMP-Rated Performance
Constructed for durability, these antennas include stainless steel mounting clamps that allow for easy installation on poles or horizontal rails. For high-power applications, Antenna Experts offers options such as 7/16 DIN-Female connectors paired with Teflon dielectric coaxial cables. These components contribute to an IMP-rated product, specifically designed to minimize low passive inter-modulation and reduce network interference, ensuring clean and clear communication within complex networks.
Specialized Marine Variant Specifications
Every high-gain fiberglass collinear antenna in the lineup is manufactured as a marine-grade variant. They are housed in either fiberglass or ABS radomes, both of which are exceptionally rigid and corrosion-resistant. The radiating elements are crafted from high-quality brass, while the support pipes utilize 6063T6 ultra-corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum alloy. Combined with type 316 marine-grade stainless steel mounting hardware, these antennas are perfectly suited for the demanding salt-spray environments of maritime operations.
Precision Engineering and Frequency Coverage
The manufacturing process involves stacking large-diameter brass radiating elements vertically and feeding them in-phase to maximize omni-directional gain. Antenna Experts covers an extensive list of frequency bands, including 66-88 MHz, 134-174 MHz, 800/900 MHz, 1100-1700MHz GPS bands, 1800-2600MHz and up to the 5100-5800 MHz range. These configurations are available in 3dBi, 6dBi, 9dBi, and 12dBi gain increments, providing tailored solutions for specific territorial or tactical requirements.
Structural Stability and Wind Resistance
Engineering excellence is further demonstrated in the structural specs of the 45mm radome models. Made from exceptionally stiff fiberglass, a 3-meter tube maintains a maximum tip deflection of only 3° even when subjected to wind velocities of 180 km/h. This stability is crucial for maintaining signal alignment and gain consistency. By utilizing multiple vertical radiating elements fed in-phase, these antennas achieve superior height and gain while maintaining a slim, aerodynamically efficient profile.
