HF Vertical Whip Antenna Antenna Experts offer HFW series HF marine grade vertical whip antenna to cover the entire 2-30MHz HF band without using any antenna tunning unit (ATU). Our HF vertical whip antenna are ground independent antenna. Antenna Experts HF vertical whip antenna can be used with ground plane or without ground plane. Antenna Experts offer 27 feet HF whip antenna, 30 feet HF vertical whip antenna, 33feet HF whip antenna and 36 feet HF vertical whip antenna. Each HFW series HF vertical whip antenna is capable to cover entire 1.5-30MHz HF band without ATU.


No Antenna Tuning Unit (ATU) is required for the satisfactory operation of HF vertical whip antenna whether the antenna is installed/mounted on roof top (with or without ground radials) or antenna is installed on naval shipboard deck for naval application. Ground radials has no effect on impedance matching or VSWR of the HF vertical whip antenna. Ground radials are helpful only to increase the efficiency of the HF vertical whip antenna over its frequency band especially on lower edge of the frequency band.


The HF vertical whip antenna is supplied with 64 Nos. of ground plane radials having 15m length of each in order to increase the efficiency of antenna at entire HF band for roof top mounting application. HF Vrtical Whip Antenna is also able to work without ground radials but with lower efficiency. For naval application, the hf vertical whip antenna can be directly mounted on the metallic deck of shipboard. No ground radials are required for naval application for this HF vertical whip antenna.


The HFW series Marine Version Vertical Whip Broad Band Antenna offer optimum performance, fully automatic, low VSWR operation over the HF band 2-30 MHz and suitable for receiving, transmitting or HF spectrum monitoring or surveillance for naval shipboard application without having requirement of multiple antennas.


The HF broadband vertical whip antenna propagates NVIS, local, medium or long distance. This HF vertical whip antenna is ready to go right out of the box, no taps to change frequency, nothing to tune - ever! Designed for the military and built to last. The HFW series HF vertical whip antenna can work any frequency you want without going through a lot of knob twirling and measurements to get a good VSWR match - just set your frequency and go!


Our HFW series military grade HF vertical whip antenna is designed for the military and built to last. No Antenna Tuning Unit (ATU) is required for its operation. HF vertical whip antenna matching circuit BALUN is part of antenna. No active circuit is involved to design hf verical whip antenna. The HF vertical whip antenna is fully passive thus ensuring many years of maintenance free life. The HF vertical whip antenna provides optimum performance over complete HF band, eliminating the requirement of multiple antennas, minimizing the cost and setup requirements.


The HFW series MIL-STD vertical whip broadband antenna is designed for broad band operation for fixed stations application as well as shipboard application. The radiating element of HF vertical whip antenna is made of ultra corrosion resistant 6063T6 aluminum alloy to ensure the survivability in worst environment conditions.


The HFW series HF verical monopole whip antenna is ideally suited for military naval shipboard use, as well as for fixed stations. HF vertical whip antenna is consisting of 4 section, heavy duty, military-grade aluminum whip antenna; it has a power rating of 500 watts over the entire 2 to 30 MHz spectrum. HF vertical whip antenna is supported by an integral mounting flange.


The HF vertical mobile whip antenna elements are tapered, and flange are provided at each element making the antenna assembly a simple job. Particular attention has been paid to the matching of dissimilar metals to minimize electro-chemical corrosion as well as noise and inter-modulation components.


The HFW series Heavy Duty HF vertical whip antenna is completely passive type which allow to receive and transmit various polarized electrical field signals. The HFW series vertical whip antenna operates at D.C. ground with low resistance discharge path for protection against lightning and immunity to noise.


The HFW series High Gain HF vertical whip antenna provides gain and near-instantaneous bandwidth performance over the 2 to 30 MHz spectrum without an antenna tuning unit. The unique aluminum composite construction is designed to withstand the rigid military environment of this HF vertical whip antenna. The radiating elements are supplied with epoxy based power coating to protect the antenna further from severe environmental conditions.


HF vertical whip naval shipboard antenna uses anodized aluminum mounting flange which is 12-inches square plate. 4 Nos. of 16mm holes are provided at the base plate so that hf vertical whip antenna can mounted on the shipboard deck. This HF Vertical Whip Antenna supplied in dismantle condition for easy of shipping and handling and can be assembled in the field with simple hand tools. The HF whip antenna elements are tapered, and flange are provided at each element making the antenna assembly a simple job. Particular attention has been paid to the matching of dissimilar metals to minimize electro-chemical corrosion as well as noise and inter-modulation components.


The HFW series HF vertical whip naval shipboard antenna is made of 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy, and does not require any field tuning. The overall length of HF Whip antenna is 27feet for HFW-230-27, 30feet for HFW-230-30 HF whip antenna, 33feet for HFW-230-33 HF whip antenna and 36feet for HFW-230-36, each hf whip antenna consisting of 4 sections. The HF whip antenna has DIN Female connector fixed at the lower section of antenna near mounting fixture/flange. The hf whip antenna provides low-angle gain in the vertical plane and omni-direction in the horizontal plane; the radiated energy is vertically polarized.
