Advanced Polarization and Tracking Capabilities

For specialized ground-to-air applications, directional helical antennas are available in both Right Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) and Left Hand Circular Polarization (LHCP). These circular polarized systems are particularly effective for frequency hopping and spread spectrum telemetry, such as those operating in the 915–928 MHz range. To maintain precise signal alignment with unmanned aircraft, the UAH series directional antennas include a manual two-axis steering system, allowing for accurate tracking across both azimuth and elevation planes. This ensures a high-gain, stable telemetry link between the UAV and the control station at all times.

The UAV anti drone antennas that are used on unmanned vehicles are, in general, rugged, dipole or fiberglass collinear antennas with omni-directional coverage. Smaller and lighter weight Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs antenna) are increasingly being used for more complex communications and intelligence applications. Directional UAV helical antennas have been developed for special ground to air right hand circular (RCP)or left hand circular (LCP) polarization applications.

Aerodynamic Design & Lower Logistics Costs

These state-of-the-art UAV antennas enable increased flight range and consistent radio frequency link performance over traditional airborne antennas. Additionally, the wide band UAV antennas reduce the number of required apertures in an airframe, further reducing aerodynamic drag and logistics costs. Standard flange mounting arrangements or roof-top hole are available for these UAV anti drone antennas, however special mounting arrangements can be designed with these UAV antenna as per customer request. Azimuth & Elevation Tracking Mechanism

Our UAH series directional UAV helical antennas are supplied with two-axis steering system (tracking mechanism to rotate the UAVs antennas manually in azimuth and elevation plane). A less complex but compact multi-sector UAV antenna array provides intermediate range coverage for communicating with a UAV. This type of arrangement can be used for quick deployment, tactical applications.

By employing a Teflon Dielectric Transmission Line technique, these antennas maintain a low VSWR and consistent gain across broad frequency bands. This high-efficiency architecture allows a single antenna to manage complex tasks—including GPS L1, L2, and L5 communications—without the need for multiple separate apertures.

Ruggedized Construction for Extreme Environments

Built to meet MIL-STD-810G standards, these military-grade antennas are housed in a UV-resistant ABS radome that offers excellent RF transparency and structural integrity. The rugged, all-weather design is specifically shaped as a cylindrical shell to reduce wind loading and prevent ice formation, ensuring reliable operation in severe climates. The internal components are crafted from high-grade copper alloy, and the entire system is factory-tuned to eliminate the need for any field adjustments, making it a "plug-and-play" solution for demanding field conditions.

Versatile Mission and Satellite Capabilities

The QHA Series is highly optimized for a wide array of specialized applications, ranging from Earth Observation and Space Science Missions to GLONASS and telemetry systems. Its broadband omni-directional coverage makes it an ideal choice for Ground-to-Air communications, drone jamming, and signal monitoring. Because the antenna provides a hemispherical radiation pattern with high circular purity, it is particularly effective for weather satellite communication and mobile robotics where the orientation of the platform may shift dynamically during operation.

Flexible Mounting and Integration

To support diverse deployment scenarios, these antennas offer an extensive range of mounting hardware options. Whether the mission requires a standard NATO 4-hole military vehicular mount, a civilian roof-top configuration, a fixed mast for base stations, or a lightweight setup for man-pack applications, the QHA Series is designed for seamless integration. For maximum longevity, the RF termination is located at the bottom of the mounting flange, ensuring the connection remains completely protected from moisture and environmental exposure.

Single Antenna Covering all GPS Satellite Bands 1100-1700MHz

QHA Series Quadrifilar Helix UAV Antennas are highly suitable for weather satellite communication, telemetry application, Earth Observation Missions, Space Science Missions, Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS , L band GPS application including GPS L1 UAV Antenna, GPS L2 UAV antenna & GPS L5 band UAV antenna without having the requirement of multiple antennas. UAV RHCP omni antenna or UAV LHCP omni antenna termination fitted at bottom of mounting flange for complete weather protection.

High Power Handling Capability

The special “Teflon Dielectric Transmission Line” technique is used to handle high power handling capacity allowing smooth VSWR and good gain over the specified frequency band of UAV antenna. The UV resistant ABS enclosure has excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand specified wind loads of these antennas The stainless steel mounting hardware is supplied with the UAV antenna. Cylindrical shell/enclosure is used for low wind loading and for minimal effect of ice formation on the antenna operation as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

MIL-STD & EU Compliance

These QHA low-profile UAV antennas use Circular Polarization Antenna Technology - which delivers better penetration through obstruction and interference to minimize the effects of multipath interference. These military grade UAV antenna provides superior performance as compare to significantly larger and more expensive products and designed as per MIL-STD-810G.
