Glide Slope Antenna Glide Path Antenna ILS Antenna

High-Precision MIL-STD Glide Slope & Glide Path Antenna

Ensure safe, accurate, and reliable vertical guidance for approaching aircraft with our GSP Series Glide Slope Antennas. Engineered for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) approaches, this antenna delivers critical descent path information, allowing for increased aircraft traffic flow and maximum safety in the vicinity of the glide path (GP) tower. Designed for mission-critical aviation infrastructure, our glide slope antennas combine advanced RF engineering with unparalleled environmental resilience.

Antenna Experts glide slope antenna consist of 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy and marine grade stainless steel mounting hardware. The antenna is supplied with international orange color powder coating finish. The assembly consists of number of collinear dipoles mounted in front of a corner reflector, which together form the shaped horizontal and vertical patterns of the antenna.

Radiating elements of AE glide slope antenna are sealed in fiberglass radome to minimize environmental effects. Glide slope antenna is designed and supplied as per military standards parameters. The entire RF distribution/combiner system of glide slope antenna as well as the integral monitor are constructed using low loss, phase stable, semi-rigid coaxial cable which provides less sensitivity to environmental changes.

Glide Slope Antenna / Glide Path Antennas are used to provide vertical guidance to aircraft during approach and landing of an aircraft under instrument fight rules. The Glides Slope Antennas are designed to withstand 200 Km/Hr wind, temperature range of -40oC to 70°C, and 95% humidity. All elements are sealed in fiberglass enclosure.

The GSP series glide slope antenna glide path antennas has been designed and manufactured by us to provide highly accurate guidance information to an approaching aircraft while permitting increased flow of aircraft traffic in the vicinity of the GP tower. Key Design & Performance Features

Aviation-Grade Precision: Utilizes an assembly of collinear dipoles mounted before a grid corner reflector to create tightly shaped horizontal and vertical radiation patterns.

Rugged, Weather-Sealed Construction: Radiating elements are fully encased in a heavy-duty fiberglass radome to eliminate environmental degradation. The structural hardware features ultra-corrosion-resistant 6063T6 architectural anodized aluminum and marine-grade stainless steel.

Phase-Stable RF Distribution: The internal RF combiner system and integral monitor utilize low-loss, phase-stable semi-rigid coaxial cables, minimizing sensitivity to temperature fluctuations.

Extreme Environmental Resilience: Independently tested to MIL-STD-810G parameters, capable of withstanding 200 Km/Hr winds, 95% humidity, and extreme temperature fluctuations from -40°C to 70°C.

High Visibility: Supplied with a highly visible, international orange powder-coated finish for aviation compliance.

Purpose & Application

Core Function: Provides highly accurate vertical guidance to aircraft during approach and landing operations under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).Operational Efficiency: Designed to permit an increased flow of aircraft traffic in the vicinity of the Glide Path (GP) tower without compromising signal accuracy.

Construction & Materials

Primary Structure: Built using 6063T6 ultra-corrosion-resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy.

Hardware: Assembled with marine-grade stainless steel mounting hardware for maximum durability.

Visibility & Finish: Coated in an international orange powder finish for high visibility and external wear protection.

Technical & RF Design

Antenna Array: Utilizes a series of collinear dipoles mounted in front of a corner reflector to precisely shape both horizontal and vertical radiation patterns.

Cabling: The entire RF distribution/combiner system and the integral monitor are constructed using low-loss, phase-stable, semi-rigid coaxial cable. This significantly reduces the systems sensitivity to environmental changes.

Manufacturing Standards: Engineered and supplied in accordance with strict military standard parameters.

Environmental Resilience

Weather Sealing: All radiating elements are fully sealed within a fiberglass radome (enclosure) to isolate them from environmental degradation.

Temperature Tolerance: Fully operational in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.

Wind Loading: Structurally designed to withstand wind speeds up to 200 Km/Hr.

Moisture Resistance: Capable of operating reliably in environments with up to 95% humidity.

Manufacturing and Compliance:

Customization: Antenna Experts offer customizable frequency bands, power handling capacity, RF connector, materials and color options to meet specific client requirements.

Short Lead Times: Our company is recognized for having some of the industrys shortest lead times with our comprising the quality for both standard and customized antenna products.
